The Northern Virginia Emergency Medical Services Council thanks you for donating to support high-quality Emergency Medical Services (EMS) care in Northern Virginia.  

The Northern Virginia EMS Council is charged with developing and implementing an efficient and effective regional EMS delivery system.  Our mission is to improve EMS care in Northern Virginia as part of Virginia's comprehensive EMS system, collaborating with the Virginia Office of EMS, local government officials, physicians, hospitals, and EMS agencies to plan and coordinate EMS activities at the regional level to promote quality of care. 

Your donation will directly support integral public education programs such as the Stroke Smart Initiative, as well as cutting-edge, high-quality EMS care like the EMS Forward Deployed Whole Blood Program which allows our highly-trained EMS providers to administer whole blood to critically ill and injured members of our community while en route to the hospital.
